Qiandao Lake Railway Station

Qiandao Lake or Thousand Islands Lake Railway Station is an important originating station on Hangzhou - Huangshan High Speed Railway. It opened the door on December 25, 2018.
The Station has 2 platforms and 6 tracks with the station building has an area of construction of 23,261 square meters.

At current, Qiandao Lake Railway Station serves nearly a hundred trains a day. Here you can easily find a train to go to Hangzhou East, Hangzhou Fuyang, Yuhang, Tonglu, Jiande, Huangshan, Shexian County, Jixi County, Wuyuan, Jingdezhen, Poyang, Duchang, Jiujiang, Yangxin, Daye, Shangrao, Huangshi, Ezhou, Wuhan, Xinyang, Zhumadian, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Sanmenxia, Huashan, Xian, Wuyishan Mountain, Yanping, Sanming, Zhangping, Longyan, Zhangzhou, Xiamen, Jiaxing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Kunshan, Zhenjiang and etc.

☝ Ticket Hall of Qiandao Lake Railway Station: international travelers please go directly to the ticket counter to collect/purchase tickets as the automatic ticket vending machine can't read passports.

Ticketing Advice

The building of Qiandao Lake Railway Station has two floors above ground and one floor below ground. The underground floor is used as fire-pump room. The ground floor is built on stilts. The ticket hall, the waiting room and the station's office are all located on the 2nd aboveground floor. No matter you want to purchase/collect train ticket or board the train, you should firstly take the escalator to this floor to go through related procedures.

☝ Shuttle Bus Waiting Room: Coming out of Qiandao Lake Railway Station and walking 10 to 20 meters ahead, travelers can see Taxi Pick-up Area followed by the Shuttle Bus Waiting Room on the right side. Shuttle Bus Waiting Room serves travelers who want to take the hotel shuttle going for various hotels in Chun'an County .

Qiandao Lake Railway Station locates more than 20 kilometers northeast to Chun'an downtown, however, it has advanced public transportation system to make sure travelers can go wherever they'd like to go.

It has three routes as of today.
• -🚌 No. 1 route runs from Qiandao Lake Railway Station to Qiandao Lake Runhe Jianguo Hotel with stops including ZTG Ming Ting Hotel, Yangguang Shui'an Holiday Apartment, Xiushui Holiday Apartment, Hupanju Holiday Apartment, Yangguang Hotel, New Century Resort Lake Runhe, Qiandaohu Hotel, Greentown 1000 Island Lake Resort Hotel, Sheraton Qiandaohu Resort, Lvcheng Lanwan Holiday Hotel, Songcheng Hotel, Quanji Hotel and the Dock of the Central Lake Area. Riding distance for hotel shuttle route 1 is 28 km, riding time is about 40 minutes and ticket fare is CNY 15 Yuan.
• -🚌 No. 2 route runs from Qiandao Lake Railway Station to Bright Resort via Family Shushe Hotel, Yuanxiang Hotel, Garden Hotel, Elan Hotel, Edinburgh Boutique Hotel, Haiwaihai Holiday Hotel, Lungcort New Century Hotel, Qianda Lake Manju Hotel, Hongting International Hotel, Star Island Impression Holiday Hotel, The Dock of the Central Lake Area and Narada Qiandao Lake Resort. Riding distance for route 2 is 31 kilometers. Riding time is about 40 minutes and ticket price is CNY 15 Yuan.
• -🚌 No. 3 route runs from Qiandao Lake Railway Station for the Dock of the Central Lake Area. Other stops on route are ZTG Ming Ting Hotel, Regency Hotel, New Century Resort, Yangguang Hotel, Qiandao Lake Hotel, Forest Hotel, Art Nest Hotel, Aode Hotel, Home Inn, Waigaoqiao Hotel, Yiju Design Hotel, Yuweiguan Restaurant, Qilongxiang Cultural Street and New Century Resort Qiandao Lake.


☝ Hotel Shuttle Bus Service: The hotel shuttle uses luxury blue tour bus which wins it a lovely nickname "the blue fairy". 8 pairs of hotel shuttle buses are available on a daily basis. The first hotel shuttle leaves Qiandao Lake Railway Station at 9:35 am and the last one at 7:00 pm.

• Special Express Bus
The high speed rail special express bus runs between Qiandao Lake Railway Station and Qiandao Lake Coach Center. Qiandao Lake Coach Centre represents the largest bus terminal in Chun'an County. Many travelers would choose to come here firstly and then change other buses for the tourist attractions.


☝ The Special Express Bus The special express shuttle uses luxury black tour bus which wins it a lovely nickname "the black warrior". It has 20 pairs of buses running between Qiandao Lake Railway Station and Qiandao Lake Coach Center on a daily basis. The first bus leaves the railway station at 7:00 am and the last one leaves at around 10:00 pm and ticket fare is CNY 5 Yuan.

• Taxi
Taxis are available at Qiandao Lake Railway Station. If you have a tight schedule and want to leave the railway station in the earliest time possible, it can be a good choice for you.


☝ Taxis are queuing up to pick up passengers at Qiandao Lake Railway Station. Taxi starting fare in Chun'an County is CNY 5 Yuan. To take a taxi from Qiandao Lake Railway station to the closest entrance of Qiandao Lake Scenic Area, it is said that cost is about CNY 60 Yuan.
