tickets for Hong Kong to Guangzhou train as well tickets for round trip. However, one way train tickets from Guangzhou to Hong Kong are not sold there.
  Question:We hope to travel to Guangzhou by ferry from Kowloon on Sunday 17th May And then transfer to the high speed train at Guangzhou south to arrive at yangshuo/ guilin Sunday evening.
How do we reserve tickets? Can we book now and have them delivered to our hotel in Hong Kong?

  Answer: I don't know if you can find an agency in Hong Kong to help you to reserve train ticket for Guangzhou to Guilin (Yangshuo) and deliver ticket to your hotel
in Hong Kong. I know ticket agencies here mainly serve peple staying inside Mainland China. Otherwise, You can let your travel agency to reserve ticket for you through the official website www.12306.cn
and collect tiket yourself upon arrival to Guangzhou South Train Statoin.
Guangzhou-Guilin-Yangshuo is a hot itinerary for train travelers all around the year and reserve ticket in advance is required. To collect ticket directly from ticket window of the train station, you are required to submit
your passport and the ticket pick up number. Guangzhou now has direct train for Yangshuo, that means, you don't have to make a transfer at Guilin to get to Yangshuo.

1. It's possible to collect ticket from the train station.
2. We would advise you to arrive the train station at least one hour in advance as you may need to queue up to collect ticket.

By train. Hung Hom - Guangzhou East - Danxia Mountains. It's not possible to make a return in one day as the only train (K1666) for Danxia Mountains leaves Guangzhou East Station at 15:56 and arrives Danxia Moutains at 19:31.
Train+metro+bus. Hung Hom-Guangzhou East-Guangzhou South Train Station ( or Guangzhou Station) - Shaoguan East - Danxia Mountain.
To travel this way, you will have to take trouble to make some transfers, but it can help you to arrive Danxia Moutain in the earliest time and make return in one day.

Upon arrival to Shaoguan East Station by the train, you can then continue the last part of the journey by bus. 50 meters away from the place of exit of Shaoguan East Train Station, you can find orange bus
running directly for Danxia Mountains. Riding time between the two places is about 70 minutes and ticket price is Renminbi 20 Yuan each.
For return, the last bus from Danxiashan Mountain to Shaoguan High speed train station is at 16:15. Bus fare is CNY 20 Yuan and riding time is 80 minutes.
The last bus from Danxiashan Mountain to Shaoguan East Train Station is at 19:10. Bus fare is CNY 16 Yuan and riding time is 1 hour.
